History of Ashmead College
Founded in September 1974 as the Seattle Massage School, the school changed its name to Ashmead College in 1999 to better reflect the geographic reach and scope of expanded programs. In August 2003, Corinthian Colleges, Inc. purchased Career Choices, Inc., the owner of Ashmead College, as a wholly owned subsidiary. In December 2007, the names of the Seattle and Vancouver campuses were changed to Everest College and the Tigard campus was changed to Everest Institute.

Our Tigard campus is located in the Plaza West Building. The campus has classrooms, lab rooms, a student lounge and administrative areas. We offer programs in Massage Therapy, Massage Therapy Spa Specialist, Massage Therapy Sport Specialist, Medical Assistant, and Medical Insurance Billing and Coding.

Our campus is located in Stonemill Center. The 18,000-square-foot campus in Building B includes 10 classrooms, administrative offices, a supply store, reception area, and all the audio-visual and classroom equipment used by the campus. We offer programs in Massage Therapy, Massage Therapy Spa Specialist, and Massage Therapy Sports Specialist.
